Taxes & Duties
Please be advised that customs charges and / or import duties are determined by the customs office of the destination country. And where it is applicable, it may be delivered once the parcel arrives at the destination country.
The actual price charged to overseas customers will be subject to the exchange rate applied by the customer's credit or debit card company. Customers outside Denmark will also be liable for any import duty, quotas, permits, product restrictions and other local requirements. You are advised to check latest applicable local requirements before placing an order.
Payment of these charges and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient and will not be covered by Hornsleth Shop. For further details of charges and fees, please contact your local customs office.
All applicable customs and import duties and fees, taxes and any other charges and fees are the responsibility of the customer even if you refuse any shipments upon delivery.
These charges are imposed by your local customs. We ship your package DDU, “duties and taxes unpaid”, and we do not collect the VAT, duties and / or taxes and cannot predict what your particular charges may be. These charges differ for every country and every locales. If your order does require these additional charges, they must be paid by you in order for your package to clear customs. Some countries may require additional fees paid Collect on Delivery (COD). Again, these fees are paid to the local customs and are not collected by Hornsleth Shop, since we has no control over local customs / import duties. You may call your local customs for more information. ALL CUSTOMS / DUTY CHARGES WILL BE COLLECTED BY Shipping company UPON DELIVERY. The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees. If you refuse a shipment from Hornsleth Shop, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any tax / custom duties that are incurred on the package, and also the cost of returning the package to Hornsleth Shop or the package will be abandon and disposed by the carrier specified in your shipment with no refund made. In the case of gifts or other purchases made on behalf of another recipient, you also agree to grant the foregoing authorizations on behalf of the recipient designated in your order. To obtain details regarding the Actual Import Fees, or to obtain documentation or receipts in connection with customs clearance, you may contact the Carrier specified in your shipment confirmation e-mail. If you refuse a shipment from Hornsleth Shop, you are responsible for the original shipping charges, any import fees that are incurred on the package, and the cost of returning the package to Hornsleth Shop. This amount will be deducted from your merchandise refund.
