The war in Ukraine may never end, and if it does, it will unfortunately result in economic catastrophe, lost lives, and outright hatred.
The background motif of the painting represents historical wars and battles that we should have learned from, but unfortunately still choose to overlook.
Therefore, Kristian Hornsleth has deliberately chosen to obscure the motif with his newest method of colorful dots, because politically we choose to obscure what we have learned from history.
