Hornsleth Dollar Bill

LOVE/HATE MONEY

The Dollar series was created in Miami, USA in 2022, where Hornsleth Studio opened its second showroom.

To attract local art enthusiasts, Hornsleth decided not to give more money to Facebook and try something new.

500 one-dollar bills were purchased and painted as small, unique works of art, and the invitation to the showroom's opening party was also written on the dollar bill.

The notes were handed out on the streets of Miami and people were very receptive to this unprecedented tactic and a large number of local Americans showed up for the inauguration without otherwise knowing about Hornsleth.

The reception was a huge success, and the Love / Hate Money piece was born, and the project is still alive and well today, reminding us all that money isn't everything in this world, or is it?

All the works are unique and handmade.

The $2 bill is more expensive as it is no longer in production in the United States.
