The title 'FYAL' stands for 'Fuck You Art Lovers', and is an indirect psychological statement about being trapped in prejudice and a reference to the fact that we are all 'fucked' when we buy art.

We don't always have our own opinions about art.

We are all brainwashed by our media, parents, teachers and public opinion to have certain opinions about what is 'good' art!

Ultimately, the big question is: Does the pure and unprejudiced experience of art exist?

There is a typical background motif in Hornsleth's visual art, which deals with the duality of man's striving for the highest and best, which in this case is the dream of becoming rich and famous, but which few actually achieve.
