“VILLAGE PROJECT UGANDA ID CARDS” - Art Poster by Hornsleth

This art poster  is a reproduction of Danish artist Kristian von Hornsleth’s original painting called “VILLAGE PROJECT UGANDA ID CARDS”.

The “Hornsleth Village Project” is showing 100 Ugandan villagers who changed their name into 'Hornsleth'. All the villagers received live stock animals in exchange for participating in this art project. Each villager went through the official legal name change process and today they all have an ID card issued to show their new 'Hornsleth' name. During this controversial art project, all the villagers were photographed holding their new Hornsleth ID and all these ID’s are the background of this unique art piece from Hornsleth.
