F.Y.A.L PINK

This colorful art poster  is a reproduction of the Danish artist Kristian von Hornsleth’s original painting called “F.Y.A.L PINK

This is another one of Hornsleth’s provocative art pieces, using his iconic F.Y.A.L ( FU*K YOU ART LOVERS) to underline the hypocrisy within the established artworld, where paintings are sold for obscure amounts, while  the “world is starving” like never before.  It reminds Hornsleth about the Danish writer HC Anderson short tale called THE EMPEROR'S NEW CLOTHES - which has become a symbol and an expression, which is often used to describe a situation in which people are afraid to criticize something because everyone else seems to think it is good or important. In other words,  the moral of this short tale is that we can't let pride keep us from speaking up, when we know the truth.
