Diamond ring

Europe has witnessed a great deal of civil unrest the last ten years. Hornsleth worked on several works that reflected these issues. Diamond Ring is taken from an incident in Greece, in which Greek protestors, set fire to two police officers. The name of the piece is deliberately ambiguous, but in previous Hornsleth works, diamonds and jewellery have been used as a metaphor for money.

Available in sizes 50 x 70 cm, 70 x 100 cm & 100 x 140 cm.
